Product description

Fabric Technologies

  • Stretch - Available as 2 & 4 Way Stretch To Allow Unrestricted Movement Stretch fabrics enhance comfort and facilitate a greater degree of movement, improve the fit and maximise easy care/minimum iron attributes. A tighter weave is available when used in conjunction with other fabric technologies such of waterproof, bug repellent and sun-protective garments.
  • SmartDry - Featuring A Water & Stain Repellent Finish Water-repellent finishes keep clothes drier for longer. Keeping them light and warm for longer, in turn making them more comfortable. SmartDry fabrics use a process that bonds the molecules of the water-repellent treatment to the surface of the garment, as a result they last significantly longer than usual Durable Water Repellents (DWR)
  • SolarShield - Enjoy The Sun Without Taking Risks With UPF40+ Protection SolarShield is Craghoppers' range of permanent sun-protective fabric tested for enhanced UV protection. This UV protection is given by a combination of three things; density of the fabric construction, the types or yarns used and the colour of the fabric. All of these things are considered with SolarShield fabrics.

    • SolarShield Rating: Excellent
    • UPF Index: 40+
    • Blocked UVR: 97.5%
    • UV Radiation: 2.5% or less
