Holiday’s in France

August 31st, 2010 · No Comments

Whether you want to have the most luxurious holiday available in the South of France or you want to go self-catering in the Loire Valley, you won’t be disappointed by the range of choice available.  From Country House Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts or fantastic villas in France, you can choose the holiday accommodation that suits you best. Gites in France are plentiful (a gite is a French holiday home, generally available for rent) and are available in all areas of the country.

There are some fabulous vineyards that you can visit whilst you are in the country; where they produce the finest wines, which are exported all over the world.  You can visit the champagne region and sample the very best they have.  Or if you prefer something with a few less bubbles why not try the Burgundy region?  You will see field upon field of grapevines and realise just how seriously the French take their winemaking skills.

To reach France you can hop on board a ferry from one of the many ports in the UK.  Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on board and have a meal while you’re waiting to dock.  There are also many flights from UK airports to many parts of the country.  Or you can catch the train and use the Channel Tunnel, which will transport you to the French border within 20 minutes.  Since the tunnel has been built, trips to France and other parts of the continent have increased.  It has certainly made life easier for frequent travellers.

So why not travel to France and enjoy everything that the country has to offer? Go and stay in one of their many villas, hotels, and holiday cottages or even stay on one of their campsites, the choice is yours.
