Skiing Holidays

September 22nd, 2009 · 2 Comments

If you’re a bit of an adventure junkie then skiing or snowboarding might just be another sport to add to your belt. Like beach holidays you don’t have to travel far to be in the snow filled mountains from France and Spain to the USA and Canada all these places are able to cater for great skiing holidays. We would recommend a few lessons first back home, unless you know what you’re doing, as the last thing that you would want to do is to injure yourself on the first day.

When you are getting organised for your ski trip you’ll need to invest in some new clothes to get the best out of the holiday. Its always best to wear a few layers of clothes when you’re skiing or snowboarding as you will soon get very cold. A thermal under layer is also recommended. Wearing brighter coloured outer layers enables other skier’s and snowboarders to pick you out quicker from the snow making collisions less likely. Do not wear jeans as once wet they will become heavy, stiff and very uncomfy to wear and will more than likely cause chafing to your legs.

I love skiing holidays, they can be cheap or expensive just like normal package deals.
